About
I am a fully qualified and insured (Balens) McTimoney-Corley Animal Manipulator and equine spinal therapist, graduating from the Oxford College of Equine Physical Therapy (OCEPT). I specialise in the treatment of horses but also treat dogs and other four legged animals.
I have always worked with horses, Eventing being my main passion. I was lucky enough to train under Gill Watson (MBE) and was her Head Girl at the Gill Watson Eventing Centre for 6 years. As well as running the yard, I competed my own horse, liveries and Gill's own horses. My main job was breaking in the young horses for Gill and her clients, which still is one of my favourite things to do. I went on to be a freelance Event Groom, mostly for the GB Young Rider and Junior Eventing teams plus a number of individual riders. I have thus far been to 10 European Championships as well as 100s of events at home and abroad. As well as the therapy treatments and freelance grooming, I also train several riders on their own horses. Alongside teaching from my yard base, I go to people's yard and also with riders to competitions, where my grooming & training knowledge comes into combined forces! Lessons are available by appointment. I have my own homebred horse, Mouse (Little Lion Man) who was born in 2011 (Grafenstolz x Pembridge Copycat). He was the BEF Futurity Champion Eventing Foal in 2011 and will be starting his eventing career, with me, shortly. |
